I have had an ongoing problem for about 7 years now, and i need to find answers because i’m going crazy. i have seen probably about 10 different gynocologists, including one who specializes in Vaginitis (including yeast infections). I have all the symptoms of yeast infections (discharge, itching, dryness) but the tests have all come back negative. They did the quick test, and then the test where you send it away to see if yeast grows. They also tested for yeast in my mouth, rectum, and vagina, and nothing came back positive. He also tested for STDs and bacteria – all fine. However, often there is white discharge on my underwear, and often times when my boyfriend (of 2 years) and I have sex, his penis is covered in white discharge from me. Has anyone ever had or heard of this problem?I have tried pills, creams, boric acid capsules, vinegar douches, everything under the sun. I am so frustrated! No doctors seem to care. I feel like I’m going to have this problem forever. Please help

I was in the hospital for 8 days, and while I was there I was giving these soapy little napkins to clean myself with while I was in the bathroom. It was these little scented wipes that were also used to bathe myself while on strict bedrest.

After about 2 days of being discharged, Ive been noticing my labia on the left side is kind of swollen, and my clitoris is really itchy.. also my scent down there has changed, and still smells like those personal cleaning wipes they gave me.

What I was curious of is how do I tell the difference if Ive contracted a yeast infection (im taking omoxycillan and doxycycline) or if I’m still experiencing irritation from the wipes?

Also, the skin in the crick of my legs (where the underwear go) is also where they cleaned me with those wipes, and its just so painful, raw and red. Any advice on how to comfort/cure that?

Im not certain I was allergic to the wipes, I’m only effected in that area, but not on my arms or legs where I was also washed. O_o

However, the doctor said and I quote, "It looks like you have some yeasties there but I’m sure it’s fine."
So I’m taking it I have yeasties (haha) and/or a mild yeast infection. She didn’t prescribe anything and didn’t seem really concerned over it. About 4 days ago I started to notice that my clitoris and the area around it was slightly itchy. I shrugged it off and thought no big deal. The next day it was a little bit worse then it had been. Yesterday was day three and I posted my symptoms because my vagina became very dry and itchy. Almost every answer I had suggested that it was a yeast infection. My clitoris and the surrounding area is still very itchy and the inside walls to my vagina are some what itchy as well. I noticed today that my vagina is a little bit red but I would assume that it’s from the itching. For a few hours yesterday it did sting a little bit when I went to the bathroom but I haven’t had a problem since. I’ve also noticed that my discharge is like a milky white color. I usually don’t have discharge in my underwear as much as I do now but it’s not cottage cheese like or lumpy like many people say are one of the symptoms to a yeast infection. I looked online a lot and I’ve been putting aloe on my clitoris to soothe the itching and it helps for a while. I tried something last night that I found online to help a yeast infection. Tonight I tried something different. Tomorrow I’m picking up some medication to treat a yeast infection. Have I waited too long to treat it? Is it better to try at home treatments or go and get medication right away? Also, if I treat myself for a yeast infection but it turns out that isn’t the problem, will that do anything to me?

Need to knows?

I have been sexually active (I really don’t want to get lectured on this, my parents know and we got over it. I also knew the dangers) with only one person, my boyfriend (we technically our virginity to each other, too.) He does not have any STD’s and neither do I. BUT I was molested by my stepfather since I was little up until 8th grade. I am in 10th grade now.

I have been on Loestrin 24 FE birth control for a few months. I have also been on the same kind for four months before I started again. I took a break for a month

I have gone to the "girly doctor" once (they gave me medication for a yeast infection)

I have had itching for a series of days twice now. It keeps happening.

This is the fourth time in the same year that I have had a yeast infection (or something like one).

I don’t really wear tight clothing, but my underwear kind of is (thongs, boyshorts, nylon, heck I honestly don’t really know…)

I USED to wipe back to front a year ago because I couldn’t get everything off (I have no idea why) but I found out that caused it so I have been wiping the correct way since.

I clean myself "down there" when I shower and bathe. I shower usually every day but some days I don’t have time so I skip a day or two.(I really have no choice) I have been told it is bad to clean myself there, and I have been told it was good.

I have been having infections a lot lately. My mom says it’s because of my underwear but I do wear cotton, too. I don’t like tight clothing that much but I do wear it.

Here are my questions

Do I have a yeast infection again? My mom says she doesn’t think I need to see the doctor. My doctor kind of creeped me out.

If I do, could it have anything to do with my boyfriend? (I KNOW he hasn’t cheated on me and I KNOW he doesn’t have any STD’s.
Can guys get yeast infections WITHOUT having sex?

Is it good or bad to clean my vaginal area?

Besides Monistat and those medications like it, are there any natural remedies around the house I can use to relieve the itching and get rid of the infection that I can aply to the area directly and/or eat or something? (I am really poor, I can’t afford to buy more medications for it.)

Can having reaccuring yeast infections be serious?

I’m really confused here…any information on what I should do and know about would be highly appreciated. I am willing to answer any questions. Just please don’t be mean, I’m kind of freaking out here and I’m hoping that what I am having isn’t serious.

Is there a site that has any pictures? Does yogurt really help prevent yeat infections? How does that work?
They say it should smell like baking bread? I have no idea what that smells like. I dont have any discharge in my underwear. I just noticed that I have some vaginal discharge sometimes, but it seems to come 3-7days before and after my cycle? It does not look like cottage cheese but I can stick my finger in there and some white thin creamy discharge (almost water like) will be on my finger. Is has an odor, but nothing sticky? Actually, smells normal.
