Okay so I usually have my periods for 5 days, because thats how my birth control makes it. And I recently missed a pill a few weeks ago, and I was on my period for an extra 5 days! So, I don’t know if I got a yeast infection because of that, or because I was wearing soooo many tampons (the scented ones). But, yeah, im pretty sure I have one, and I have the monistat cream, and I got the monistat 1 day treatment thing, and I did it last night, but my vagina still really itches and burns, and theres like this white discharge, and I had sex with my boyfriend today too :( It didn’t hurt me though so I didn’t know if that was going to be a problem. I just want to know how to get rid of this painful stuff and how I can prevent it from happening again.

i’m 14 and i’m pretty sure i have a yeast infection. i haven’t gone to a doctor yet but i have an appointment. but most of the cures include inserting one of those egg things from a tube, like monistat 3 or something, and it’s hard for me to insert things in there. i cant even get tampons to work. so i was wondering if there was something i could use, like a cream or a pill instead, that would get rid of a yeast infection if i do have one.

So this has been for about the past month or so. My vagina started having a slight bad odour, a little bit fishy. There is no noticeable discharge. There is, however, a white sort of substance that gathers around my clitoris and under my clitoral hood mostly. It seemed like it was yeast growth to me, so I used Monistat 3. You’re supposed to wait seven days to see full results, and not use tampons, because they will absorb medication. It is literally impossible for me not to use a tampon, my period is ridiculously heavy right now, I have to use a tampon and a maxi-pad and change it every 3-4 hours. I haven’t seen any improvement in the white substance, and I’m on my 5th day. Should I wait longer or perhaps get checked for BV?
Yeah it was originally very very itchy, but I think maybe I got used to it. And it burned after sexual intercourse. Both my partner and I have had no previous partners, so it’s not an STD. Can you have BV and a yeast infection at the same time?

My mom made an appointment for me today…she’s at work so I can’t tell her I started…the flow is pretty heavy, even for the first day. I always wear pads because I’m only 14 and I don’t want to use tampons until I’m older.
I think the doctor might have to, um, use a swab or whatever because I tried treatment and it didn’t work…I’ll see what happens when my mom gets home in a couple of hours. I really want to get this sorted out, but it’s a male doctor…do you think there’s any way he would let me, um, get the evidence myself?
Please help, what do I do??

i found this and i want to know if it works:

the censored word is v@gina

Stay away from deodorant sanitary pads and tampons, sprays such
as deos, perfumes, bubble baths, coloured toilet papers that
could cause irritation to the *GRAB*l tissues

Take a tampon and dip it into yoghurt. Insert in the *GRAB* at
least twice a day and continue a day or two more after your
symptoms have gone away.

Few drops of tea tree oil poured on tampon and inserted in the
*GRAB*, provides relief.

Eat plenty of foods that are high in vitamin C, such as
potatoes, citrus fruits and broccoli.

Fill a bathtub with warm water enough to cover the affected
area. Add ½ cup or so salt, enough to make the water really
salty and ½ cup vinegar. Immerse your self into the bath tub
for approx 20 – 30 minutes. This is easy cleansing solution for
your *GRAB*l are

is this ok to do? will it through off the pH in any way?
thank you!!!!
Mix olive leaf extract, grapefruit seed extract in a glass of
water. This is a good curative tonic for this infection.

Fill a bathtub with warm water enough to cover the affected
area. Add ½ cup or so salt, enough to make the water really
salty and ½ cup vinegar. Immerse your self into the bath tub
for approx 20 – 30 minutes. This is easy cleansing solution for
your *GRAB*l area.

Mix 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar in 2 cups of water with 1
clove of garlic. Let it stand for sometime and use it for
douching.

Insert 1 or 2 boric acid capsules in the *GRAB*, keeping it
overnight for several days. Boric acid may cause burning and
discomfort, but will also bring relief.

Okay so, I recently discovered I had a yeast infection. I read some stuff about natural remedies for it, because I’m uninsured and such. I read a few things about when you menstruate the pH levels in your vagina change, and makes it hard for yeast to survive. I just started my period tonight ( I usually only use tampons), and I had this weird burning sensation after I put the tampon in.

So question is, will my period get rid of my yeast infection, and if its normal for it to have a slight burning sensation with tampons. And any advice on stuff to cure this stuff up would be greatly appreciated!

I got a yeast infection about 3/4 days ago.. The burning now is not as intense as it was then, but it still bugs me a great deal.
This is the first time this has happened to me, so I dont really understand what causes a yeast infection.I heard that tampon pads may cause it, if they do, could I use tampons again. Also, I know that you can buy over the counter medicine like Vagisil and Monistat, but could this infection heal by itself? Does yogurt help?

I was wondering, I just had cryotherapy 5 days ago and I’m not supposed to use tampons or have intercourse, but I think i’m developing a yeast infection. Can I use a treatment for yeast infections that require insertion of a “syringe” type thing that inserts the yeast infection cream into the vagina? Or should I get something else?
