one of my first signs of pregnancy was a very mild yeast infection. i didn’t treat it at the time, i was waiting for my doc. appointment. i treated it when i was 12 weeks with a 7 day cream.

BUT my best friend (of 18 years) has unprotected sex with her boyfriend. she truly thinks, she isn’t able to get pregnant because they’ve "tried" in the past. they had unprotected sex during her ovulation, and a week later she is experiencing a very mild yeast infection. she isn’t due for her period for another week, it is too soon to take a test. i told her, she maybe pregnant and to be careful on how to treat her yeast infection. she kind of blew me off and took monistat 1 (24 hour cream); basically the strongest dosage. i’ve read in books, it takes a pregnant lady a little longer to treat her yeast infection because too high of a dosage can be fatal… (the average time for a pregnancy yeast infection is 7-14 days).

has anyone treated their yeast infection early in a pregnancy (who didn’t know) and is still pregnant or has a healthy baby?

what are the chances of the pregnancy being OK? (IF she is even pregnant)
but she already took it… like i said, she blew off my advice. she just wanted to get rid of the infection (understandable but i thought it wasn’t "safe")

I have a yeast infection. I am treating with Monistat. But before I used the medicine today, besides your normal signs, my mom told me that these symptoms are also of a yeast infection. Bloating, nausea, pukeing on long car rides or from the smell of coffee, spotting, and being really tired. I think these other symptoms are signs of pregnancy, not related to my yeast infection. What do you think?
