My b/f and I have been playing this fun game of "pass the yeast infection" I’ve been doing the over the counter treatment and he’s been doing a similar regiem of putting Monistat (which we lovingly call Manistat) on the head of his penis etc. I recently read about a natural remedy for curing a female yeast infection which was inserting Garlic into the Vagina, worked magically as disgusting as it sounds and is cheaper than spending the 17 bucks on Monistat. He is uncircumsized (love it) and the cleanest man I’ve ever met. Soaking his member in vinigar and putting Monistat on it seems to clear up the infection, but after a month we seem to be back at square one with me running to the pharmacy and both of us sitting with an uncomfortable burn! I’ve heard there is an oral medication to cure this issue, but due to some sort of heart condition B/F can’t take it… any natural remedies I haven’t tried yet?? I mean the Garlic works amazing for me, but I can’t imagine where he’d shove it LoL! We try to be as clean as possible as we have sex on average about 4 times EVERY night so pre-bed showers always come into play. We are oober clean, I don’t douch I only use a mild "lady bits" soap on the outer parts of the vagina. I do use birth control which I’ve heard can cause Yeast issues. Any sugestions are welcome!!

I went to the doctor for a mild yeast infection. she suggested 3 things. I do nothing if its not bothering me too much. Use a simple vinegar water douche, or i could use and otc yeast treatment.

Ive always read that douching is bad unless suggested by a doc. Ive also read yogurt is a natural remedy so I tried both. I used the douche 2 days ago. I feel 80% better, but my discharge is still thicker than im used to? should i douche again? is it too soon?

I got that familiar itch again, and decided to go with a natural remedy this time. I used garlic. Stuck a clove in there every few hours for the past couple days. I just took the last one out about…an hour ago. The itching seems to have gone down. Followed it up with some of the leftover cream from the monistat kit I got a couple months ago. The problem is, the irritation seems to have increased. It doesn’t really itch that much…but you know how irritation is down there–it’s hard to tell whether it’s still itching, or just irritated. What should I do? And why does it seem to have started itching AFTER I applied the monistat cream? I never had one before my first fingering in feb./losing my virginity in april (I’m 23) and this is like the 4th one since then. What should I do?

I’m 14 weeks pregnant and have been battling with a yeast infection for almost 2 years now. I have been prescribed medications from my OBGYN and every time I go, he’s giving me something. I’m tired of getting the prescriptions. Honestly, is there any natural remedy I can use? How helpful is garlic or tea tree oil? (Also, I’m not a big fan of yogurt, so please don’t recommend!) Right now I’m willing to do anything…but I want to make sure my little one is not being harmed. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Monistat doesn’t work for me! It just keeps coming back. I’d rather use something natural. And no he does not have yeast, it’s just me. We haven’t had sex in months since I’ve been pregnant.

"Potassium sorbate is in powder form. You will need to mix about 10 gm of potassium sorbate in 300 gm of water. Dip a tampon into the solution and insert it into the vagina and leave it overnight. Stop once the yeast infection recedes.
The same preparation applies to hydrogen peroxide except that the solution should be used as a douche once daily until the yeast infection stops. Hydrogen peroxide is an effective natural remedy against yeast infection."

I was wondering if I could somehow use a Potassium Gluconate Tablet In Place Of The Potassium Sorbate?
I’m desperately in need of a remedy,
But I don’t have any of the usual remedy supplies at home,
Payday is 5 days away,

My Basset Hound has had a couple ear infecions caused by yeast and she has another one now. In the past she has used prescription Mometamax. Is there a natural remedy that will treat and cure the infection? I want to avoid taking her to the vet again if at all possible.
I dont need smart assed answers please, I know what my dog has, I know that Basset Hounds are susceptible to ear infections, I take care of her and Im a big believer in natural cures. If you cant answer my question with a logical, polite answer dont answer at all.
