Three days ago I saw my OB/GYN to clear up my first yeast infection. The symptoms were unbearable. Redness, swelling and severe itching, mainly on my clitoris and labias. I was prescribed Diflucan pill and Lotrisone cream. The cream seemed to help for maybe 20 mins and I’m STILL itching just as badly as the first day. I’m losing sleep over this. I’m not as red and swollen as before, though, which is good. How long will I have these symptoms? I’m to the point of tears over this angst. Thank you.
