I gave birth 5 weeks ago and was on antibiotics for about 2 weeks and was just waiting for the yeast infection to come.. and it has! I went to the doc for my 4 week checkup and told her I thought I had a yeast infection coming on.. she tested for it but said she didn’t see yeast but I have a bacterial infection.. but I still had a lil bit of blood and that can alter the yeast.. well anyways I know I have one because I have had them before and this is defff it! I went to wal mart last night and got some medicine.. modistate but how would I treat my boyfriend so he doesn’t keep giving it to me? He doesn’t have any symptoms but I dont want to take any chances can he just use the cream? and if so how would that work just rub it on his penis head? Or should he go to the doctor and get a pill (dont really want to pay a doctor bill!) Thanks
To my first answer.. we have stopped having sex until it gets cleared up but if he doesn’t get treated he will just give it right back to me

I’ve bever had thrush or a yeast infection so far luckily (i’m 18) but i have a feeling something is wrong "down there" and i don’t know what to look out for? The last week i’ve been a tiny bit itchy inside my vagina, nothing unbearable but i don’t think it’s normal, nothing outide, also if (sorry to be graphic!!) i open up it looks quite red inside my vagina, well the beginning bit that i can see. I’ve had less discharge than normal too and i’ve recently noticed the smell is a bit stronger than normal i think.

If it’s a yeast infection, who do i get rid of it? Is it over the counter or do i need to go to the doctors. Do i need to stop having sex with my boyfriend , if so for how long?? I’m seeing him tommorow night and haven’t seen him in a while! We’ve used protection so don’t think it’s a STD, but i’ll get checked anyway tuesday!
There’s nothing wrong on the outside, it’s just on the inside, should i buy over-the counter stuff or wait to see my doctor tuesday… busy tomorrow!
