I was told by some female co-workers that one can acquire a yeast infection in the oral cavity due to antibiotic taking. Is this true? I thought only women got them. What’s really going on. I’m experiencing a burning sensation on my bottom lip and in the inner left jaw area. Here’s the deal, I have an abcessed tooth and the Dentist prescribed a Amox-Clav 500mg (amoxicillin/clavulanate).
