Now i read that a yeast infection can occur after taking antibiotics. Which i feel is the case for me (this happened 2 days after i took the antibiotic), but i find it strange that this is the first time i have what i think is a yeast infection because i’ve taken that antibiotic many times before. (amoxcicillin)

Here are my symptoms:

Recently my labia minora has been peeling.. A LOT. i can take off some skin basically and the same for my clitoris too. And this has never ever EVER happened to me before. I’ve also been having some white discharge. Im not too sure if its related to what i think is a yeast infection or if im going to have my period soon. It’s incredibly itchy around the vaginal opening and inside the vagina, and the skin itself stings when i try to wash myself with water. There is no odor at all.

Are there any home remedies or over-the-counter treatments that are going to work for sure?

I don’t really have a chance to go to my gyno anytime soon so if anyone could give me their diagnois of what they think this may be, it would be greatly appeciated.

And FYI: im 17 years old. Im incredibly clean down there and i’ve only had sex with 1 person. We both lost our virginity to each other and we’ve been together ever since so i do not think this is any STD of any kind. We also haven’t had sex in nearly a year.

I went and got a second tongue piercing about a week ago…

I had a couple of slip ups with aftercare..I drank beer and dairy products after receiving the piercing.

I know that this was a mistake and I think that I may be getting an oral yeast infection. The piercing is still a little tender (only had pain for 3 days with the first piercing) and I have white spots (kind of like a film in some places) on my tongue.

Does anyone know any good home remedies for oral yeast infections? I’m out of town and not able to see a doctor for about a week (no insurance card with me and no extra cash for co-pay).

Any help or advice would be appreciated!!

im 16, so my mom would have to go to the dr with me.
ive heard that birth control can cause them, so that might be. i only just started on it a month ago.

My girlfriend had a yeast infection and now I’m getting the symptoms of a yeast infection.

Aside from that, I also read that Montistat could work.

Ok so I hate the smell that I’m getting especially after sex… i had moninstat 7 and it worked for about 1 month, then i got the yeast infection again.. I just dont want to purchase anything anymore, I’ve heard about home remedies on yeast infection. I’ve heard wiping the inside of their ear with diluted white vinegar can rid a pup’s yeast infection. How diluted? And do you do this daily until it’s cleared up? I’ve had dogs in the past that have had yeast infections in their ears, and know the symptoms well. I’ve never tried this home remedy but it sounds much better than medications and ear drops with who knows what in them. Anybody try this and did it work?
I have no problem taking her to the vet, I was just asking if anyone has heard of this and if it worked. My dogs are fed homemade food and I prefer to keep them on homeopathic/home remedies.
