I’ve been tested repeatedly at a clinic. She said she didn’t see yeast, she did the STD test each time she checked for yeast and bacterial vaginitis, no STDs, even gave me paid for some cream for herpes(even though I don’t have any bumps or anything but she wanted me to try it because she can’t figure it out) and that stuff didn’t help other than lubricating it a lil’. I am so frustrated, never had this kind of problem, only have had like 1 or 2 yeast infections ever. On the sides next to my clitoris it’s red, around the opening of the vagina it’s red and irritated(but not really inside), vulva is itchy at random, and it’s kinda red on the lips. Not really any discharge. I am just so confused and frustrated it’s been months now of trying stuff that the doctor has told me to try, nothing has made it go away. Any ideas?
I haven’t had sex since this started, originally I thought I might be allergic to the strawberry lubricant we used(first time I use lubricant and go figure), but I’ve tried taking antihistamine, and using hydrocortisone, I’ve tried to think of anything else that I could be allergic to, I try to wear no underwear at all or cotton ones. I use a little bit of sensitive skin un-scented dove soap on a washcloth to clean down there and that’s all I use the washcloth for. It’s just so frustrating and random.
I’m not overweight. I’m 5ft 3in and about 130lb. For my body type that’s average/normal.
I haven’t been tested for a UTI since back before all the stuff down there started. I had pinching in my sides(specifically my right one), but she did the test and said she didn’t really see anything but she gave me a prescription and I took it to see if it helped. Then a little while after that I got a yeast infection and monistat took care of it. I went to this other place to make sure I didn’t have cysts on my ovaries, they said I didn’t, and also gave me a pap, ever since that pap it’s felt kinda eh down there. I was feeling a lil’ better when we used the lubricant and then ever since the lubricant I can’t seem to feel normal down there again. I haven’t touched that lubricant since that one time. Julzz33 I’ve tried most of the things you’ve recommended, because I know I’m sensitive to scented laundry soaps and what not. However looking into vulvodynia, may need to do that more, I’ve read about probably almost everything that causes the symptoms I have…Oh and than you and everyone else for your answers. About 5 days ago I ended my period. I am a virgin and my boyfriend and I have done oral sex, but not intercourse. He has never been with anyone while I have had one other partner more than two years ago.

Okay so this past summer around August I had a yeast infection…or at least I think it was because there was the curdy whiteish grey discharge and the extreme itching…and sometimes after my periods it still gets itchy. When I put cream on it it helps.

Often I shave down there on the labia around my vaginal opening and a couple days ago I noticed a couple very small reddish bumps there. They didn’t really bother me, but had a sort of whiteish filling in them. I shaved maybe a week ago before this happened so do you think they are ingrown hairs and irritated skin? This really gets irritated after periods a lot too, but not all the time and is always very mild.

Then I looked on a lot of websites because I was freaking out about herpes!!! A lot of the pictures I saw very very extreme and didn’t look anything like what I have and mine have never popped and crusted over like they says herpes bumps do. What should I do??? HELP!!!

Ok I’m so sorry I know this is like a NOVEL, but PLEASE read this it’s so important and I’m pretty much severely depressed.

I’ve been having so many "womanly" problems lately and now I’m scared I might have HERPES please hear me out…. and only serious answers please! Ok,so a little over a month ago I took a spinning class for the first time… after the class I felt very sore and iritated in my vaginal region… but I thought nothing of it… just a little discomfort from the seat, and the fact that I wasn’t used to it. Then I started to experience itching… and a few days later a thick white discharge. I’ve had a yeast infection before… so I assumed that’s what it was. Coincidentally I had a doctor’s appointment a few days later for something completely unrelated, so I decided to wait until my appointment to treat the suspected yeast infection. When I got there she tried to do a pelvic exam and gather a sample…. but I had a lot of pain and pressure when she inserted the speculum and I was tense, so she could not collect a sample. I figured it’s because I’m a virgin… and that’s why I had the pain. Since she couldnt collect a sample she asked if I just wanted to treat it as though it were a yeast infection, I said yes and she gave me an option of prescription diflucan… or over the counter monistat,,,, I chose the diflucan… because who wants to deal with a messy cream. So I took the dilflucan pill… and you’re supposed to feel relief within 3-5 days…. NOTHING. It did not a thing. It was as though I hadnt taken anything…. so I called my doctor (GP)and explained…. and she said to make an appointment with a gynecolgist… so I called the gynecologist’s office but they were unable to see me for a couple of weeks and that ws way too long, because by this time my symptoms had gotten MUCH more severe (same symptoms… but just worsened). So i decided I couldnt wait to see the gynecologist and bought some Monistat 7. I took the Monistat 7… and after it was finished I noticed a DRAMATIC improve in the amount of discharge I was having…. i think the discharge I have now is just normal because it’s such a small amount. BUT the itching remained! At first I figured maybe it was just a little bit of the medication lingering in my body causing a bit of irritation…. but that was almost a week ago and the itching has not gotten worse! and theres burning. so I decided to check myself out down there to see if I could see anything visibly wrong… and now im FREAKING OUT. On my inner labia I have a cluster of bumps…. it’s mostly on the left side… but a few on the right side as well… they are not pus filled… and I know what ingrown hairs look like… and they are NOT ingrown hairs. I’m not sure how long they’ve been there because it’s not like I check myself out down there all the time….. but I figure they must have appeared recently or the doctor would have noticed it the first time i went in for a "yeast infection". So im totally paranoid and googling pictures of herpes and stuff… and Im not sure if it looks like that. The bumps are about the same size but they arent pus filled (at least not that i can tell… its not like I really got a close up look) The reason why I’m freaking out so much is because I had an incident about a year ago where I was intoxicated and molested…. I passed out, and if this is herpes it means I wasnt just molested…. I was raped. So PLEASE take this seriously and let me know of ANYTHING that you know of that can cause a cluster of reddish pink bumps, itching and burning. Anything that’s not an std….. cuz like I said if its an Std that means I was raped. PLEASE Im so depressed about this and I dont know who to talk to. PLEASE PLEASE HELP.

I’ve had problems for years that I believed to be recurrent yeast infections or something of the sort, so did most of my doctors because the symptoms I had were most similar. But now I saw a new gyno that told me some women get vaginal herpes and they think it’s yeast infections.

Now… here’s the thing – I’ve never had an "outbreak". No sores, no scabs, barely any redness. But I’ve had this texture to the inside part of my outer labia and inner labia that’s sort of like… you can’t see it unless you stretch the skin and then they look like lots of whitish bumps, slightly raised but not inflamed or anything.

Again, you can’t see them unless I stretch the skin, they’ve never EVER become sores or scabbed over and I’ve had them for a while. I can’t remember when I first noticed them, it probably was after I’d become sexually active so that’s why I’m worried.

I looked at pictures online and most herpes sores don’t look anything like it but some of the drawings I’ve seen do remind me of my "bumps". I also know that some women just have a grainy texture to their labia but I don’t know.

Is it possible at all to have herpes with bumps but no sores? For years? I know it’s possible for a couple months but not years and besides, it seems like you’d be able to see them without stretching the skin.

Please help, I won’t see my dr for a while, it’s hard to get an appointment and I’d like some info from perhaps someone who’s more familiar with genital herpes etc. I’m really worried now though I doubt I have it. My gyno said about 70% ppl don’t have antibodies so negative test results mean nothing (which I had and they were negative).

And while I do get minor irritation around the entire area and itching (which I would attribute more to yeast or irritation from soap or whatever), it’s never really painful or bad, there are no sores which I think I would notice!!!

But I do get pretty bad itching around the entire area sometimes, enough to wake me up. It doesn’t LOOK abnormal though, that’s the thing. With warts, HPV or herpes, you would definitely get visible lesions, it seems.
Also my doctor told me to use Ivory soap and not intimate washes (I was kind of shocked) but I tried and it caused so much irritation I could barely sleep

Had sex one time with a sex worker 9 months ago and my life has never been the same.

Is it possible that I have a yeast infection if only my vulva is itchy, not my actual vagina? I have had one yeast infection before but I didn’t even notice any symptom-at my annual gyno appointment she noticed a small one and gave me the meds for it. I also have little tiny white bumps, which may or may not have been there before…I don’t think its actually the bumps that itch, because they are more up by my clitoris. I had unprotected oral sex about 6 weeks ago, and these mild symptoms have been happening since then. At first I got really concerned that it was herpes, but the bumps were there about 7-8 hours after contact, and I don’t think herpes can show up that fast? Also there has been no change to the bumps, and they may have been there for awhile, they are really really small and I only noticed them because I was nervous and checking things out down there to make sure there wasn’t a problem. I also already have oral herpes, so I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be very likely that he would have passed oral herpes to me down there. That’s the only thing I’ve ever done below the waist, so I know its not an old infection.
It can’t be HPV because I got the gardasil shots…and I had the last shot over a year before this happened so it’s not like they wouldnt have taken effect yet or anything, and thee bumps are nothing like warts they are pinprick sized white bumps

About a week ago, I got all the symptoms of a yeast infection. Usually I take acidophilus pills like a madwoman and insert one into my vagina at the first sign of a YI and it goes away. This one seems more persistant… I hate to take medication for it if I can get it to go away on its own. I’ve been treating this one with garlic and a diluted vinegar douche and it seems to be helping slowly. The itching has been so intense though that I catch myself scratching without even thinking about it. I try so hard not to, but sometimes I would even rub the area through my clothes just to get some relief. Today I noticed a small sore on the skin of the hood of my clitoris. It looks kinda like a mouth ulcer. Could this be caused by the yeast infection? I was sexually active once at the beginning of this month with a guy that I’ve known most of my life and trust to be clean and STD free. The sex was unprotected for less than two minutes, and then he put on a condom.

I’m just not sure what to think about this sore… there are no sores around my vaginal opening or anything… I know that herpes comes up in clusters of blisters…

Anyone have any insight?

And yes, I will go to the doctor, I just wanted some opinions on whether or not I should worry about this…

Has anyone else gotten sores from a yeast infection?
By the way, there is no oozing or crusting of this sore. It isn’t very painful as I have just noticed it. I stings a little when I wipe, and I assume that this is keeping it irritated…

Let`s started: ALl this started 5 months ago.I am 24 years old, male. . I got diagnoticated genital herpes 5 months ago.When i recived the diagnostic by a doctor, he order me a full text ( including HIV ).There was when my nightmare started. I don`t know yet why i had herpes genital for the first time, if my last relation was 1 year and 6 months ago ( who can all that time i had it without having any syptoms ).Well since them i said to my self YOU MAY HAVE HIV.I saterted related my herpes like it was already HIV. ANd i started looking in internet all kind of information.My sexual risk by now was 1 time unprotected sexvaginal with a girl that i don`t know her status ( that happend 1 year and 8 months ago since now ), but i started having syptoms since 1 year and 7 months after that releation.I never had remarcable syptoms as i remember of a 1st seroconvertion.Any ARS symptoms at all after that relation. I said was that relation cause i did a text of HIV before, and came negative( now i live in Canada, so i had to do it due to inmigration ( i could say that by that time i was also really worried, but i did not have any symptoms like now i do, since i started wondering and wondering ).Maybe i had the herpes since long time, just i dindn`t knew it. I got diagnoticated genital herpes 5 months ago.When i recived the diagnostic by a doctor, he order me a full text ( including HIV ).There was when my nightmare started. I don`t know yet why i had herpes genital for the first time, if my last relation was 1 year and 6 months ago ( who can all that time i had it without having any syptoms ).Well since them i said to my self YOU MAY HAVE HIV.I saterted related my herpes like it was already HIV. ANd i started looking in internet all kind of information.My sexual risk by now was 1 time unprotected sexvaginal with a girl that i don`t know her status ( that happend 1 year and 8 months ago since now ), but i started having syptoms since 1 year and 7 months after that releation.I never had remarcable syptoms as i remember of a 1st seroconvertion.Any ARS symptoms at all after that relation. Okay, this may be a little graphic, but I guess it depends on the person. Please read through and answer the questions to the best of your own ability, and I know you all are not doctors, this is just for opinions. Dont forget the questions at the end!

5-6 weeks ago, I had sex, and the guy got a little crazy and rough. I was sore for a day and the next day I thought everything was fine. I have gotten a yeast infection before this from friction, and took medicine and went away. Those symptoms appeared about 2 weeks later and I was given a one time pill for it.

Now, I would say about 1-2 weeks ago (so 3-4 weeks later), I started scratching and almost cursed myself out for developing another yeast infection. I decided to take a look, and near the opening to the vagina seems inflamed and red as if a cut were healing. I got extremely worried and went to a clinic nearby immediately. She took one look and said she’s almost positive that that is not herpes or syphillis, but she swabbed it anyways and I took a blood test (negative). So since my insurance would cover most of the cost of meds, I decided to wait to go see my regular gyno, and decided today that I would see what other people think, or if they have had this happen?

Is this just cut that is healing, and a yeast infection? Could it be BV? But I read that BV doesn’t cause itching. Is there OTC things I could use? My last yeast infection caused itching of the clitoris, and internal itching. I have itching near the "cut" and clitoral itching, so I am kind of skeptical. After that little session I have vowed to become celibate, because I cannot go through this anymore, my body is very sensitive.

Anyways enough of my babbling, can a yeast infection present itself this late? 3 weeks later? Or did I have it, and just didn’t know until the itching increased? Any help is fine thanks.

ALl these for 1 months and 15 days around.Now i still have but really few from time to time ( normal ). 2- Fatigue and depression ( i just wanted to sleep, i am a really hyper person, and i never felt sleep so fast in my life), in a way i made a depression, i was really depress, that is why i think i was sleeping so much ( that last 2 weeks ). 3-I had also the togue white, and my mouth was totally dry , desapear when brushing and after appear again that color all over my tongue( i smoke also ).My throuht started having a weird feeling, like it was closed, something was there, didn`t hurt me so much, but was a weird feelings that last 2 months, used to be harder or really soft, but most of the time there,comming and going , but most of the time was present during all that time)The only thing that uses to relieves it was the water, or smoke, or to eat something, then it was fine, but after started again, somtimes didn`t let me speak good,my voice was like weak.. was buging me all the time, was hard to speak ( i think was oral candida, but i didn`t have any patch in my tongue, was only all white, and that weird feeling in my trought ). 4-After the first 2 months i started having pins and nedles,like priks all over my body, that uses to desapear in minutes and after come again( legs, arms, left chest, right chest, stomac,arms,toes, ankles,even in my butt. 5-Sensation that my chest is burning ( that happen during only 1 week, and i had lot of scratch, wihout any spost or rash , just bunring feeling and scratching all over, specially chest, nothing more ).the same sensation less in my arms and legs. 6-Pain my my chest, like presion on it,in one side and in the other ). 7-In the beging i felt like i was drunk without drinking a single dring, confuse in the enviorement, but that went way after the first 2 months, i felt like a zombie ). 8-Muscular pain, not so intense but still, all over my body. 9-Psicollogical sypltoms, uff: really stress, nervous,sad,lot of anxiety,i am also i could say hipocondriac, just when i find somehitng abnormal i became really compulsive about it, all the kind of mental, feelings pain i had, looking hours and hours in internet, relating my syptoms all the time with HIV. 10-Now latelly since the last 2 months my feets started hurting me, like needles,pricks , or electricity.everywhere, also in my legs, the pain hurt the most maybe in the ankle, and goes all the way up and down. This pay in the beinging was less but now i getting stronger, hard to walk sometimes, after a long walk ( i am almost conviced that it is a kind of neuropathy related to HIV
