i am in my second trimester of being pregnant and earlier this week i had gone to the doctors for a sore throat he said i had strep and prescribed me some antibiotics. A couple days later my inner vaginal lips and clitoral area started to itch like crazy. I then found out that i didnt have strep but i had mono. Anyway…My clitoris area itches quite badly and is starting to sting now and the lips are inflammed and swollen. About 5 days ago I ended my period. Right after, my clitoris and vulva area started itching, a couple days after that I noticed 3 little bumps under my clit, right on my vulva, but they’re soft bumps and do not hurt at all. I am a virgin and my boyfriend and I have done oral sex, but not intercourse. He has never been with anyone while I have had one other partner more than two years ago.

Okay so this past summer around August I had a yeast infection…or at least I think it was because there was the curdy whiteish grey discharge and the extreme itching…and sometimes after my periods it still gets itchy. When I put cream on it it helps.

Often I shave down there on the labia around my vaginal opening and a couple days ago I noticed a couple very small reddish bumps there. They didn’t really bother me, but had a sort of whiteish filling in them. I shaved maybe a week ago before this happened so do you think they are ingrown hairs and irritated skin? This really gets irritated after periods a lot too, but not all the time and is always very mild.

Then I looked on a lot of websites because I was freaking out about herpes!!! A lot of the pictures I saw very very extreme and didn’t look anything like what I have and mine have never popped and crusted over like they says herpes bumps do. What should I do??? HELP!!!

I recently had a yeast infection that I took care of using Monistat 3. Or, at least, I lost 99% of the symptoms after I’d finished it. A couple days later, I developed slight itching and the creamy, not really wet discharge that kind of builds up on either side of my clitoris over every few hours. Not an overwhelming amount, but enough that if I were to swipe my finger, it would cover the tip of it up to where my nail comes out of my skin. It doesn’t really smell like anything in particular, but it’s whitish.

It’s around the time I usually get my menstrual cycle, and I’m having slight cramps. I’ve been pretty tired all the time. I’ve heard of early-pregnancy-related yeast infections so I decided to take a pregancy test, but when I wiped after taking it, there was blood. Not a lot, and very diluted, but I figured I was starting and I put a tampon in. For some reason it didn’t fit the right way and I had to take it out in a matter of minutes, but the blood on it was light brown.

Is this just a coincidence, or is it a warning of something bigger?
Although I’m sure the immature people on here will comment otherwise, yes, I do shower regularly.

I don’t douche, and I’m not on any birth control.

Within the last couple of days I’ve been without my sleeping meds, if that has anything to do with it. The other night I only had half a dose and last night I wasn’t able to have any.

A couple days ago I started to develop symptoms of a yeast infection (itching, burning, discomfort, etc.). It progressively got worse so I got that cream stuff for it. I’ve been using it for two days now and the infection has only gotten worse. My outer labia is swollen to about three times its original size and I’ve developed this weird, itchy rash extending from my labia to the insides of my legs and above my clitoris (across the whole top..where you shave or whatever). But through all these symptoms, I don’t have any discharge and the itching seems to be only on my vulva, instead of inside my vagina. I’ve never had anything like this before. ok, so, about a month ago, a week before my period, i started having this terrible vaginal itch. it lasted for a few days before i got into a doctor (it was a general doctor not a gyno) who did not seem concerned and just said to come back in if the symptoms continued. my period started a couple days later and it went away. however, a week ago it came back. the itching wasnt quite as bad but still considerable, along with redness, soreness including the clitoris. there was not really a discharge, as in nothing left on my clothes etc. but there was a little white if i placed my fingers inside, and on the one day when my clitoris was sore there was some white stuff, like particles of paper or like toilet paper under the hood. i went to the docto rand she did a swab test and sent it to the lab and i am now waiting for the results. my period starts tomorrow (i am on the pill so i know) and at the moment i have no symptoms. so, first of all does this sound like a yeast infection and second of all is it normal for an untreated yeast infection to go away and then come back again. also if so, what are the chances that it will keep coming back or will it most likely go away for good if properly treated finally?

I got that familiar itch again, and decided to go with a natural remedy this time. I used garlic. Stuck a clove in there every few hours for the past couple days. I just took the last one out about…an hour ago. The itching seems to have gone down. Followed it up with some of the leftover cream from the monistat kit I got a couple months ago. I got that familiar itch again, and decided to go with a natural remedy this time. I used garlic. Stuck a clove in there every few hours for the past couple days. I just took the last one out about…an hour ago. The itching seems to have gone down. Followed it up with some of the leftover cream from the monistat kit I got a couple months ago. The problem is, the irritation seems to have increased. It doesn’t really itch that much…but you know how irritation is down there–it’s hard to tell whether it’s still itching, or just irritated.
