IM 12 WEEKS PREGNANT AND I WENT TO THE DR BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT I MAY HAVE HAD A YEAST INFECTION BUT IT TURNS OUT I DIDNT WELL I HAVE HAD THIS BURNING SENSATION ON MY VAGINAL LIPS AT THE VERY TOP

i didnt know how else to put it so i found a picture of the vagina to indicate were it burns just wanted to know if anyone has ever felt this pain in this region b4

YES I JUST GOT TESTED ABOUT 4 WEEKS AGO FOR ALL STDS AND HAD A PAP SMEAR DONE ITS ROUTINE FOR PREGNANCY AND I HAVE ONLY BEEN WITH 1 GUY AND I HAVE HAD 2 OTHER KIDS BY HIM

Wednesday night I realized I had a yeast infection so on Thursday I went & bought a one day Monistat Ovale treatment for at night. I followed the directions & put it in before bed. The cream stuff was coming out of my vagina like it’s supposed to a little, then a little later I got a burning sensation. It wasn’t unbearable, but noticeable. The next day, the burning persisted.

It’s now Friday night & I’m having slight burning. I’ve been wearing pantyliners, & I noticed a very light red on one, almost like a coral color. It was like the yeast or the cream from Monistat mixed with my blood. I still have over a week before my period is supposed to start.

My last period, I bled very lightly for a week before & it persisted through my period very light.

I don’t know what is going on here, but if anyone has some suggestions or answers, please help.

I’m a college student with no car & little money so I can’t go to the hospital. My doctor is hours away. The health center on campus is closed all weekend. My mother is ignoring my calls because she is on vacation.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I haven’t itched the area at all so I know I haven’t scratched myself, but it is still sensitive.

So I went to my 2nd prenatal visit and went over the testing results – Yay, negative for everything (did NAAT testing to be sure.)
However, the doctor said and I quote, "It looks like you have some yeasties there but I’m sure it’s fine."
So I’m taking it I have yeasties (haha) and/or a mild yeast infection. She didn’t prescribe anything and didn’t seem really concerned over it. The only symptoms I have is the whitish stuff and perhaps a light warm/burning sensation when I’m wearing underwear or clothing continually rubs up against my vagina.
Mmm since she knows about the "yeasties" do I need to be concerned at all since she seemed cool with it?

I was told by some female co-workers that one can acquire a yeast infection in the oral cavity due to antibiotic taking. Is this true? I thought only women got them. What’s really going on. I’m experiencing a burning sensation on my bottom lip and in the inner left jaw area. Here’s the deal, I have an abcessed tooth and the Dentist prescribed a Amox-Clav 500mg (amoxicillin/clavulanate). Generic for Augmentin. My jaw was extremely swollen, but, now it’s disapating. Thank God!!!!!

I think I’ve been suffering from a yeast infection for about a month now. Around Oct. 3 I started having the abnormal discharge and burning sensation in my vagina when I Pee. However, October 12 I got my period and the burning sensation went away and obviously I couldn’t tell whether there was still abnormal discharge until after it went off. I did read that menstruation helps pass bacteria out of the vagina(don’t really know if that’s accurate). Anyway, after my period went off, I began to have full force itching in my vagina and on the outside, but no more burning sensation when i pee. The discharge had no odor and was white. Now it has an odor and is more yellowish. I need help with figuring this out. I was certain that this might be a yeast infection, but I don’t know anymore. It might be Bacterial Vaginosis or Trich from what I been reading. The symptoms are pretty much the same for all 3. It is easy to say go to the doctor, but I don’t have insurance so I don’t know what to do.

I tried using an antifungal cream but that made my itching worse and my vulva swelled. So I didn’t even use it the full 7 days. I’ve tried the sitz bath with vinegar and salt. That helps temporarily. I’ve been taking acidophilus pills which has been helping alot with the itching, but still have it a little. I’m thinking of trying garlic vitamins and tea tree oil. I’m also going to buy some plain yogurt. I just want to know does anyone have any other suggestions regarding natural remedies. Thanks!

Okay so, I recently discovered I had a yeast infection. I read some stuff about natural remedies for it, because I’m uninsured and such. I read a few things about when you menstruate the pH levels in your vagina change, and makes it hard for yeast to survive. I just started my period tonight ( I usually only use tampons), and I had this weird burning sensation after I put the tampon in.
