pregnancy and yeast infection?

okay so i just took a pregnancy test and it was positive. and i think i have a yeast infection or something. could it hurt my baby? have any of you had a yeast infection before u got pregnant? and i know i need to see the doctor i just made an appointment but i want to see if any of u guys know so i can stop worrying so much. thanks

omg! I am 27 weeks pregnant and have already had TWO yeast infections… one mild one and one really, really bad one! They can not harm the baby as long as they are treated before it is born. If not treated, your baby may contract thrush on the way out, which is an oral yeast infection… But it’s curable! There is no real reason to worry. They are VERY common during pregnancy!

Actually it is good for your baby becuase now it can eat the bread that is baking inside your vagina.

Yeast infections are more common in pregnancy, usually it will not harm anything, just make you very uncomfortable. When you give them a call for the appointment ask the triage nurse to call you about what to do about the yeast infection.
it is so very common and unfortunately this is probably the first of several you may experience during your pregnancy.
go to the chemist and ask what you can take for it ,
i had 3 yeast infections with my 1st pregnancy and the chemist gave me a 6 day pressary(you insert it into your vagina) its completely safe while your pregnant .
i went to the dr first of course and she put me onto it -its a over the counter thing
