I think I may have Candida or some sort of depression.
Has anyone ever had candida? Im a 24 yeah old male, 5,6 and 165 lbs. Ive never been diagnosed with Anxiety or Depression. My symptoms have been going on for a month. my mind feels fogged, I cant sleep and when I do I over sleep, my memory has become really bad. I will scratch my head and without noticing it or other things such as that. These feeling continue all day long. I feel pressure behind my eyes every now and then ad bright lights irritate me. Basically I feel like I’m stuck in a dream or in a never ending hangover. Some one please help me.
I have had a CT scan, it came back good. I have had blood tests for diabetes and my hormonal balances. Those tests came back good. I have had a blood test for minerals andmy thyroid and that came back good. This feeling came out of know where. I just woke up one day feeling like this and it hasnt left me.
Are there any tests I can have to see if it is candida?
And if it is Candida what is a good way to cure it? I see these diet programs ob line but they cost money and seem fake.
My mind seems fogged, I get a fuzzy feeling in the front of my forehead. I cant concentrate and I am having problems reading and understanding what I just read. This could all be just from lack of concentration. Im worried. I dont know what the hell is going on with me. Am I going insane?
On a few occasions, I have felt confused and lost or dissoriented. This only happened when I was in a packed mall and in a packed store. I just want to get over this feeling and return to my happy fun life.
Good things have happened to me, I just proposed to my gf. I got a job promotion, I just graduated. The only bad thing that has happened is my best friend passed away Feb 27,2008. Him and I use to ride our motorcycles together all summer long. But since his passing, i sold my motorcycle and havent went on a ride.
I dont smoke. Never have. I dont drink. Except for my 24th bday on June 15th. I drank so much I got sick and slept in the bathroom. This gave me a hangover for 5 days. Which I will never drink again.
I had my hangover until the 20th or 21st. But I felt fine and normal all the way up until July 5th.

Have you been stressed out lately? Do you smoke cigarettes? These could be contributing to the fogginess….I think you may have grief from your friend passing as well as other stress…I experience this fogginess also….you may need to start an excercise program and see your doctor.
edit – i did a little reading up on candida and the symptoms that you described seem to fit….it says that candidas main cause is when you take a lot of antibiotics…..other things can cause this too…..the best thing to do is to cleanse your body by drinking plenty of water fruits and veggies and see your doctor or an herbal doctor for testing and further help in curing this.
You may want to get checked for allergies. Either food or other allergens can have symptoms like these. You could even try calling an allergy clinic in your area to see if there is a particular environmental allergen that had increased levels about a month ago. Or if you’ve changed your diet recently, that might have something to do with it.
If you aren’t exercising regularly, you should give that a shot – it will help your ability to focus and also your energy levels.
Are you out of school for the summer or something like that? You may have just been used to the stimulation you were getting in school and now you are out of practice, so to speak.
I notice that when I am bored/unstimulated for a period of time, my body and mind starts feeling like it’s going into hibernation. If that’s the case, you just have to break out of it and get your mind and body active again.
The last response you posted said it all. I think based on everything that at the very least candida is responsible in some way. A 5 day hangover would indicate that your body couldn’t detoxify the alcohol effectively and that it was more than likely causing excessive fermentation in your intestines.
Before anything if you want to find out for sure I’d check out my sources box for a questionnaire that will tell you if you have Candida and how bad it is as well.
