How do you get rid of a yeast infection fast?!?
Okay so I usually have my periods for 5 days, because thats how my birth control makes it. And I recently missed a pill a few weeks ago, and I was on my period for an extra 5 days! So, I don’t know if I got a yeast infection because of that, or because I was wearing soooo many tampons (the scented ones). But, yeah, im pretty sure I have one, and I have the monistat cream, and I got the monistat 1 day treatment thing, and I did it last night, but my vagina still really itches and burns, and theres like this white discharge, and I had sex with my boyfriend today too 
It didn’t hurt me though so I didn’t know if that was going to be a problem. I just want to know how to get rid of this painful stuff and how I can prevent it from happening again.

Stop using scented tampons…they will only make it worse. Don’t have sex with your boyfriend..you can actually give the yeast infection to him. And like the prior person said, get monistat.

When i had mine it was so incredibly painful in any position i was in, even if i was standing up or sitting down. I went to the Doctor and they prescribed me cream and pills. As soon as i took one pill the pain was disappearing, they work great! So go to ur Doctor, especially if its really bad. It cleared mine up in like 2 days!
So I know these sound very weird, but trust me! they worl.
1. Plain yogurt…there are living microorganisms that live in yogurt. You can soak a tampon in the yogurt and insert. Or take the tampon out of the applicator and fill the applicator with yogurt. Freeze, and you have free monistate. Make a couple and you will have on hand yeast infection medicine.
2. Garlic… this one is weird but it works. Take the garlic out of the shell, dont smash, make sure it is whole. Wrap in a lil bit of cheese cloth, tie with floss or string (leave some hanging like a tampon so you can remove it like a tampon) and put it in your vagina. It is best to do this at night because you will taste the garlic in your mouth. This gets rid of the itch fast, and gets rid of the yeast infection itself. Leave in overnight. I did this during the day for and the itching stopped in less than 20min. I didnt even have to take any medicine.
3. Eating or drinking anything acidic (lemon, oranges, cranberry juice). This raises the pH in your body and makes an unstable environment for the bacteria.

Monistat didn’t work for me.. my doctor prescribed me meds and it made even worst!
Despite when it manage to heal, the yeast infection will come back again (means it’s not fully cured).
I realized the only real cure for Yeast infection is doing the natural way so it won’t come back again!
