Has anybody taken oral tablet Fluconazole to cure a yeast infection during pregnancy?
I’m 35 wks, 4 days and my doctor prescribed this.
I have heard it is not really safe during pregnancy, and have read everywhere about it. Just wondering if anyone has taken this??
Also, i would have preferred having a suppository cream but can you still do this even though you are dilated? im 1 cm dilated and can this cream go up through the open cervix?
THANK YOU.

Yogurt is good for yeast infections.
Your doctor would not prescribe you something when you are pregnant if it were not completely safe. The pill is the best way because it dilutes before crossing the placenta, as a cream could get into the uterus if you are dilated.
