I have heard yogurt works...But make sure your EATING it...not smearin it on your "you know what."
It has natural cultures in it that will help kill the bacteria that your body produces.
I also suggest drinking more cranberry juice (if you drink any now.) It helps to keep your urinary tract cleansed!! Plus it's yummy!!

No, only yogurt. Yogurt has lactobacillus in it which is found normally in your body anyway but gives you an extra boost of it which counteracts the yeast. If you can't stand the taste of yogurt, you can buy AZO over the counter which has the same stuff in it as yogurt, but in pill form. Take 1 tablet 3 times a day during the infection and then once a day for at least a week afterward to make sure the infection is totally gone. You can also buy Monistat over the counter or call your doctor for a prescription of Diflucan which you take only once.

In Texas where my cousin lives, her Doctor tells her to use Yogurt just as you would Monistat. You must have a syringe type thing like the one that comes in Monistat. However, I always use the 7 day Monistat. It always clears them up. I've tried the newer types that are just 1 or 3 day treatments, and I always have the infection return. If you buy the store name brand Monistat 7 day, I think it's just as cheap as yogurt, and you know it will fix it!!! Sour cream has nothing in it I know of that would help a yeast infection.
