Plain yogurt not sour cream. But an over-the-counter cream meant for curing yeast infections will work better.

try yougurt, monistat or see a dr.

I’ve never heard of sour cream for that, but plain yogurt will work.

NO ITS YOGURT!!! Be sure your eating the yogurt not putting it anywhere. It has natural cultures that help clear an infection up. If you still have a problem use a medication.

I have no idea but that’s disgusting. Try Vagisil or Monistat

no sour cream cant but i was told by my doctor yogurt can, because of the live active cultures in yogurt it over runs the bacteria from a yeast infection and kills it. ive never tried it though :)

I have heard yogurt works…But make sure your EATING it…not smearin it on your "you know what."
It has natural cultures in it that will help kill the bacteria that your body produces.
I also suggest drinking more cranberry juice (if you drink any now.) It helps to keep your urinary tract cleansed!! Plus it’s yummy!!

No, only yogurt. Yogurt has lactobacillus in it which is found normally in your body anyway but gives you an extra boost of it which counteracts the yeast. If you can’t stand the taste of yogurt, you can buy AZO over the counter which has the same stuff in it as yogurt, but in pill form. Take 1 tablet 3 times a day during the infection and then once a day for at least a week afterward to make sure the infection is totally gone. You can also buy Monistat over the counter or call your doctor for a prescription of Diflucan which you take only once.

YOGURT WILL HELP THIS. MAKE SURE UNDERWARE STAY DRY. BACTERIA LOVES DAMP DARK PLACES. ALSO TRY MONOSTAT FOR ITCHING AND IRRITATION.

In Texas where my cousin lives, her Doctor tells her to use Yogurt just as you would Monistat. You must have a syringe type thing like the one that comes in Monistat. However, I always use the 7 day Monistat. It always clears them up. I’ve tried the newer types that are just 1 or 3 day treatments, and I always have the infection return. If you buy the store name brand Monistat 7 day, I think it’s just as cheap as yogurt, and you know it will fix it!!! Sour cream has nothing in it I know of that would help a yeast infection.

no..but where people get that is the acidophilsis, it can…you have a good bacteria that is covering your canal…with birth control or antibiotic you kill this protective flora and candita the bad bacteria thrives…if you use acidophilsis (pills not the milk) and dusch with water and the acidophilsis, it will give you immediate relief…if you take it internal also you should not have a problem once it gets into the system…hope it helps

Yogurt works well. A friend of a friend has them regularly, the doctor told her to drink butter milk daily. If you take antibiotics for other things, make sure you eat yogurt everyday while you are on the medicine to help prevent them. Keep yourself clean and dry in that area. You may also need an over the counter treatment to clear this one up.

haven’t heard of that one… do know that eating yoghurt regularly does help avoid yeast infections.
