You need to wait a week after treating the yeast infection be fore having sex. If you have sex while you still have a yeast infection, it can not only be really uncomfortable and make the infection worse, but it can also pass the infection to your partner, and he can pass it back to you. Male yeast infections usually go untreated, but they can cause major problems down the road for a guy. So wait about a week and be sure you have NO symptoms before having sex. Don’t use tampons during that time either if you do get your period.
